Detox Time!

I really am not one for dieting or anything cray cray like that. It’s all about balance! Eat well, be active, but you if want that piece of cake YOU EAT THAT PIECE OF CAKE!

I mean I don’t know that many people that don’t like smoothies, and this one in particular is my favie if I want a nice healthy snack.

This isn’t a classic sweet berry, or tropical, or chocolately smoothie. This one is mean and green and tastes like health in a cup!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of water
  • A handful of spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp of almond butter
  • 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of ginger
  • 1 tsp of maple syrup
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp of turmeric

Some people may be thrown off by the ginger, but I’ve definitely had more people tell me they enjoy this smoothie than ones that didn’t! Seriously though, give it a try, for the sake of health 😉
